Complete Accident Questionnaires in My Health Toolkit

Effective May 19, 2020, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina members will be able to complete the required accident questionnaire for pending claims using My Health Toolkit®. It is important to note that we are not changing the existing subrogation process—we have created an additional avenue for members to submit the requested information. This new feature will be available for the following lines of business: Major Group, State Health Plan, Group & Individual, National Alliance and Medicare Advantage.

If you have a claim that is pending accident details from the member, refer them to My Health Toolkit to complete the questionnaire for review. Once they log into My Health Toolkit they will be prompted to answer specific questions that will help us determine whether or not the services rendered were accident related. The length of the questionnaire can vary per member, as the questions will be based on the answers entered by the member. The process is quick and easy and will help reduce delays in the processing of claims.
